Introducing Paint.NET
Contributed by: G3nu1n3, at 1/05/2005 08:28:00 PM.

Paint.NET is image and photo manipulation software designed to be used on computers that run Windows XP or 2000. Paint.NET is jointly developed at Washington State University with additional help from Microsoft, and is meant to be a free replacement for the MS Paint software that comes with all Windows operating systems. The programming language used to create Paint.NET is C#, with GDI+ extensions.

Paint.NET has many of the powerful features that expensive commercial applications have, including the ability to use layers.

Requires : Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1

  • Hey thanks for the link to Paint.Net - How do you find the time to collect so much info and then post it on your blog - an outstanding blog

  • Thanks for the appreciation. I give hour or two dedicated time to the blog daily. I was used to visiting tech related sites for some years now and for the blog i have to check around 30 odd sites daily. Thanks to syndications the time to surf these sites is reduced drastically. In short keeping you people informed keeps me informed. If you want to help me with this effort try to spread the word around, so that more can get benifit from this little effort me and DS are putting up.
