Rock me
Contributed by: S A J Shirazi, at 1/25/2005 11:51:00 AM.

In simple terms, I spend most of my blogging time navigating others’ blogs rather than putting own thoughts online or making my blog look pretty! Every blog I visit tells me how to make my blog cool instead of cheesy. I learn: I find myself laughing aloud while reading about life in a relaxed and friendly writing style. I am amazed to look at links and HTML and what bloggers do with that (my own sense of how to do HTML and other strange web stuff is still not innate), and on banners, stickers and buttons, (I have come to like). In short, it is fun and painless. I feel like a whiz kid!

What capture my interest more than any other thing are candid comments from far and beyond, mostly by strangers. That is a completely new world out there. Are you still wondering what my point is? Rock me every blogger you vist.

  • For me Blogging is a better utilizsation of my Net time. I have been an avid user of the net since approx 1990 when Digicom came to hit the market. Since then I have done a lot and explored its endless boundries, but Blogging is an entirely new internet for me.

I now had the unique ability to surf the net through the bloggers perspective, mind you not only the net but surf his day-to-day life. One might label it as an invasion of privacy but then again the 'onus' lies on the blogger who chooses to Blog. Blogging brings out the jounarlist in all of us.

    Go ahead rock me too

  • Firstly, Thanks a lot Shirazi for an excellent post.

For what i see most of the blogger do it for self-recognition.

For me the Sense of Freedom ... Freedom to experiment and express is the most attractive part. Damnit its my site, i can post whatever i want to, change the format i like best. The freedom to do that and then seeing people join you in this fun is more than any other attraction. Keeping people and myself informed while having fun doing it ... nothing beats that !!!

    Rock On Bloggers :-)
