Ophcrack is a Windows password cracker based on a time-memory trade-off using rainbow tables.

This is a new variant of Hellman's original trade-off, with better performance.

It recovers 99.9% of alphanumeric passwords in seconds.

  • Bookmarked for the day i might need it ;) or when i need to hack into someones computer ;)

BTW I like the headline layout but seems as if i dont like the "new window pop-up" but thats just me.

maybe if you had some creative drop-down method that opens up the entire topic on a click - I saw this on rehanalvi.com/blog check his topics out he has a short summary on the main page and if you click "read more" it expands the topic further.

    but thats just me ;)

  • Thanks for the link, but i did knew about the technique for quite some time.

The creative drop down menu (peek-a-boo) can be easily implemented at blogger PROVIDED all the contributors have to MANUALLY add some HTML code in each of the post.
(some might not be too much comfortable with that or even forget or ignore it resulting in inconsistancies)

The trick is that the first page will appear to load only short intro to each of the post but will eventually open the entire post when clicked on a particular provided option.

But actually the entire post is loaded (just not visible at load time, until selected).

This will loose the objective to load the first page a bit quicker.

Dont worry im just experimenting ... i may revert back to the original format (i have a backup copy of that)

    Keep your ideas comming.

    Thanks Doc.

  • Hey - personally I like the headline layout since you are a very active poster the good stuff sometimes gets to the bottom too quickly with this feature enabled we can now browse all the headlines.

I just found a trick to avoid the pop-up = if i simply click on the commnets hyperlink it opens up the page within the same window BUT if i click on the headline then I get the pop-up solves my problem.
