How to: *always* start you mac in verbose mode

open up a terminal and type this command:

$ sudo nvram boot-args="-v"

it might ask for you password, enter your password. Reboot your mac, and voila.... you mac boots in verbose mode without pressing the "CMD+V" keys anymore.

  • lol.. good question!! Since, I don't want mine to boot in GUI mode... i never bothered to even findout how to revert back... but don't worry... i will post something about reverting back soon!
