Pakistani Blogger: Shirazi
Contributed by: G3nu1n3, at 4/27/2005 08:37:00 AM.

Shirazi the author of a well known Pakistani blog Light WithinTM is taking the Pakistani blogging scene by storm. I have gotten to know Shirazi over the past few months through the inter-connected world of blogging. He is a very down-to-earth humble person who has the ability to inspire bloggers. Many a times when I go into a ‘blog-snooze’ he pounces on me by simply asking ‘Are you too busy to blog?’ an innocent comment but one that ignites the fire in me to resume blogging.

His captivating headlines catches the eye of even the most casual reader and is an enticing invitation to read more into the post, the absorbing text with an artistic splash of words in turn forces the reader to actually acknowledge the post by making a comment, that my friends is blogging at its finest and our dear ‘ol Shirazi at your door steps with just a click-away @ sajshirazi.blogspot.com

His ‘Heart-to-Heart’ blogging style is probably a very good reason why bloggers from around the world come by to visit the blog. Let me assure you if you happen to even make a single lonely comment on his blog he has the uncanny habit of returning the favor in triplicates as he then actually turns to follow your own blog. This is a blogger who has tremendous respect for the various un-written blogging traditions and I get the feeling as this respect is the source for his own prosperity, a quality that makes his blog page breathe as if it were alive and kicking.

S A J Shirazi (albeit - a long name) is a frequent columnist in numerous local newspapers around the country with a Sci-tech column in the daily Dawn, two unique colums with The Nation ( The Common Touch -talks abut people and trends and another called From the Hinterland - which talks about places) and also with The News in US Magazine where he talks about the Enviroment. His artistic use of words keeps even the most ignorant of readers captivated in his article and later would walk way a better informed individual, it is no doubt a healthy reading even for the the learned types. His journalistic talents do not stop there as he has authored two outstanding Urdu books Reet ke Tehreer and Izhar. This is a testament to the fact that he is not only fluent in English but also in Urdu.

A well accomplished journalist at your service with a simple click your neighborhood Pakistani blogger…… This is to you ….Shirazi - Keep up the good work.

  • Words cant describe him.

One TRUE blogger on the pakistani and International scene. Some how some way he has the ability to put up an excellence piece of writing at will, and do it regularly.

He is definitely an inspiration for us all. At least half the reason i continue with my blog is after seeing him work with his own.

The Pak Blogsphere is soul less without him.

    Keep up the great work.

He has been more than willing to help me when I first started blogging, and his posts are always interesting, informative, and I especially appreciate the very expressive way he describes Pakistan. He makes me see it. He is indeed a great inspiration.
