  • It looks much linked a skinned windows xp, Windows has been building on the same basic structure since 95. I would really like to see them change that.

  • Windows Longhorn will not be based upon XP based GUI API and DirectX.

    It’s a completely new GUI engine, requiring Game like pre-requisites (3D GPU) to be fully unleashed.

    Guess we have to wait for a while to explore all that Longhorn has to offer … maybe wait until end of 2006.
