Wiki-what? Wikitosh!
Contributed by: Some Desi, at 4/27/2005 04:46:00 PM.

Wikitosh is looking for contributors:

Wikitosh is a new wiki developed specifically for Mac Users. In it you will be able to find and contribute to such subjects as Macintosh Computers and other Macintosh compatible hardware, Apple software and other software that runs on the Macintosh, a Support and Troubleshooting section that may help you upgrade, fix or repair, or otherwise troubleshoot issues that may arise with your Macintosh or peripherals, advanced areas for developers and programmers, as well as other topics of general interest to Macintosh Users. As a Wiki the content will be predominently provided by the Mac Community for use by the Mac Community.

Why a Macwiki? Well, way back in 1991 when I first switched to the Macintosh, one of the things that attracted me to the platform was the incredible sense of community I felt amongst Mac Users. They all seemed to really love their computers and enjoy using them so much. And in general they always seemed willing to help each other out when they could. That same sense of community is what inspired us to start Wikitosh. The website produced by Mac Users, for Mac Users. Anybody can contribute to the Wiki and we hope that many people will be able to use the pooled knowledge and experience contained in it to further enhance their Macintosh Experience.
For those of us, who don't know what a wiki is, read this!
