First Google's Keyhole, then Yahoo! Maps, then Amazon's A9.com, and now MSN. Isn't it becoming a fashion? Bill Gates, on Monday 23rd May, previewed new satellite-mapping technology offering from MSN to compete with the rival companies in this field (too!). It was announced at a conference in Carlsbad, California. MSN Virtual Earth is a map service that lets the user zoom in on a local area and get info about restaurants, cafes, hotels, resorts, etc. This service will be available to end user around this summer, says the Tech-Lord, Sir Bill Gates.
